Good full-day spa trips fill their slots weeks ahead and the great ones go first. Below: the 15 to book early, what each includes and how they differ.
Spend a full day at Budapest’s historic Gellért Spa on the Buda side. Your ticket covers indoor and outdoor pools, thermal baths, saunas, steam rooms, and a locker or private cabin. Bring a towel, flip-flops, and a swimming cap for the main indoor pool.

Leave Athens by private air-conditioned car or minivan for Lake Vouliagmeni’s mineral-rich waters, a coastal Greek meal, and the Temple of Poseidon. Spend up to a full day at Budapest’s Gellert Thermal Spa, where mineral springs feed 13 indoor and outdoor pools beneath grand Art Nouveau halls. Your mobile ticket includes a locker or private changing cabin, but bring towels and flip-flops. A swimming cap is required for the pool.
“Really didn’t enjoy it . thr main outside pool wasn’t open so crammed into side pool. You had to purchase flip flops and caps to use the place. Took ages to get served despite having on line tickets and noone gave us advice on which turnstile to go into. Had to ask a random staff member . Would not recommend.”
Spend about 10 hours traveling from Kraków to Chochołów and Zakopane with an English-speaking guide. Visit a traditional wooden village, ride a two-seat snowmobile off-road near the Tatras, grill oscypek, sip mulled wine, and finish at Chochołowskie Thermal Baths. Snowmobiles cost extra.

Spend about nine hours exploring Krabi’s hot spring waterfall, Emerald and Blue Pools, and Tiger Cave Temple. Expect hotel pickup, lunch, park fees, and a group of up to 20. Guides such as Mimi and Abhi are praised for their care, though the 1,260-step temple climb is demanding.

Spend a full day at Palatinus Strand on Budapest’s Margaret Island. You can switch between thermal pools, a wave pool, children’s areas, water slides, saunas, and steam rooms. A cabin or locker is included, and the $25 admission works well for families planning several hours by the water.

Spend a full day at Budapest’s historic Lukács Thermal Bath, soaking in mineral-rich thermal pools, using saunas and steam rooms, and enjoying heated outdoor pools with jets and waterfalls. The $29 ticket includes entry plus a locker or cabin, subject to availability.
Travel from Krakow into the Tatra region with an English-speaking driver-guide, stopping in Chochołów for wooden houses, sheep cheese, and highlander spirits. You get free time in Zakopane, a funicular ride to Gubałówka, and 2.5 hours at Chochołowskie Thermal Baths. Small vans may be available.

Spend up to five hours at Paradise Hot Springs near La Fortuna, moving between mineral pools and hot tubs with different temperatures and massage jets. Towels, lockers, changing rooms, and showers are available. Add lunch or dinner if you wish, but transportation is not included.

Check in at Yunomori Onsen and Spa on Sathorn 10 for unlimited one-day access to jet, mineral, soda, garden, and teak baths, plus sauna and steam rooms. English and Thai staff can help you follow the bathing routine. Bring a towel, and expect to bathe without swimwear.
Set out from Quito at 7:00 am for Papallacta Lagoon, a short nature walk, and several thermal pools at Termas de Papallacta. Your bilingual guide may be Carlos, Irene, Erica, Mauro, Pamela, or another team member. Pool entry and transport are included, while meals, massages, and spa treatments cost extra.

Leave Sofia for Rila National Park, ride the chairlift to 2,150 meters, and hike a three- or five-hour circular route past the Seven Rila Lakes. “This tour was great, our guide was great, took us to see 5 of the seven lakes as there was too much snow to see the 6th and 7th. We saw incredible views. Only issue we had is that it was way more expensive than the tour description said. For the chair lifts it was 25lev return and for the spa it was 40lev. The description says that it would be 15lev for the spa this is a drastic difference and we probably would not have gone with this tour if we had known.
